Getting your iSight to Work with Facebook Video
I couldn’t get my external, Firewire iSight to play nice with Facebook in Safari. I also couldn’t find anyone who solved the problem. The fix is pretty easy:
Go to one of the pages where the Flash video app comes up. http://www.facebook.com/video/?record should work fine.
Right-click (or control-click) and choose “Settings…”
Click on the Microphone tab and choose “iSight”
Click on the Camera...
